Highlights

Werribee Open Range Zoo has welcomed the birth of a small but mighty lion cub.

The healthy cub was born in the evening of Sunday 23 March. The lion cub will have its first health check to determine its sex and will be named in the coming weeks. For six-to-eight weeks, mum and cub will spend some important quiet time bonding in a private den, away from public view.
